“I am an Optometrist and cannot emphasise the importance of eye care enough. It is something we almost take for granted.” Maulia appeals to the community in UK & around the world.
“Prescription glasses can cost as little as £10, but many do not have the means to buy them or have access to eye care professionals. I plan on reaching out to these deprived areas of Sri Lanka that are easily forgotten. Money raised will go to providing eye tests, glasses and to educate people on the importance of eye health.” She further said.
